When Favre decided that he was going to come back for the 2010 season he made it clear that he wanted a repeat of last year's regular season, but with an 0-2 start it doesn't seem likely. The Vikings hosted the Dolphins at home on Sunday the 19th and right from the start Favre began to have some troubles. He threw 3 interceptions, 1 fumble in the endzone, and 0 touchdowns. Even though the defensive held the Dolphings to only 226 yards of total offense it still wasn't enough to rebound from all the turnovers. "It's a 14-game season now and were at the bottom of it. What we do from here remains to be seen. It won't be any easier," Favre explained after the game.
As an avid Vikings fan, I too hope that they can have a repeat of last year. It won't be easy making a comeback though, with the Bears and Packers both 2-0. This could very well be Favre's last year playing football and hope that he can bring the team to a Super Bowl. The season has only begun, so hopefully the Vikings can work out the kinks and get on a winning streak.
