When Favre decided that he was going to come back for the 2010 season he made it clear that he wanted a repeat of last year's regular season, but with an 0-2 start it doesn't seem likely. The Vikings hosted the Dolphins at home on Sunday the 19th and right from the start Favre began to have some troubles. He threw 3 interceptions, 1 fumble in the endzone, and 0 touchdowns. Even though the defensive held the Dolphings to only 226 yards of total offense it still wasn't enough to rebound from all the turnovers. "It's a 14-game season now and were at the bottom of it. What we do from here remains to be seen. It won't be any easier," Favre explained after the game.
As an avid Vikings fan, I too hope that they can have a repeat of last year. It won't be easy making a comeback though, with the Bears and Packers both 2-0. This could very well be Favre's last year playing football and hope that he can bring the team to a Super Bowl. The season has only begun, so hopefully the Vikings can work out the kinks and get on a winning streak.

Homeless Face the Cold
The article starts out with an interview of a homeless man who lives in Atlanta by the name of Brook. Unlike most homeless people, he prefers to stay away from homeless shelters and finds abandoned houses or even dumpsters to stay in. The reason he doesn't like homeless shelters because of how many people that steal when the others are sleeping. Brook has been jobless for 2 years, and during that time either in jail or on the streets. He hints that his way of obtaining money is illegal saying,"I aquire things for low and sell for high". Brook says the worst is when it is cold, and raining, he says the last time he went to a shelter was because of the rain. All across America homeless shelters are seeing an increase due to the cold weather. More than 21,000 people were counted as homeless in the counties surrounding Atlanta. Many shelters have had to deny people shelter due to the shelters already being packed.
Something that I don't understand is how their can be so many people that are homeless in such a small area. Especially now that with the weather I would think that people would do anything and everything to try and find a place to stay permanently, and not have to go back on the streets.

8 people shot at factory in St. Louis
On Thursday at 6:30 am, a had entered a transformer manufacturer company in St. Louis with a rifle and a handgun. When the police got to the factory, they made a perimeter around the building, and were able to locate the victims. Their was a total of 8 people shot, 3 dead, 5 wounded. Nothing was said about the man who shot these people.
I think thats its sad how America has had so many incidences like this. Where someone walks into a building and takes so many innocent lives. I think that its hard to protect people who work in places where these kinds of things happen because you don't know who is the person thats going to snap.
